It was in a peaceful location next to Maynooth, Ireland and a nice area. Also, this hotel was situated 3 km from tourist destination like The Manor Mill Wheel...

The shared lounge at this B&B was like stepping into a cozy living room, complete with comfortable sofas and a crackling fireplace. I felt like I was visiting an eccentric aunt's house, filled with charm and character.
Limited nightlife nearby.

My stay at Laithreach Briuin B&B was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The house itself is stunning, filled with love and beautiful family photos in every room. The lounge area with its cozy chairs was my favorite spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, although my tall stature did lead to a few funny moments of my feet hitting the bedend! The bedding on both the king and single beds was luxurious and I slept like a dream. The shower in the ensuite bathroom was a delight, offering strong and hot water, exactly what I needed after a long day of traveling. The attention to detail in the room was exceptional, with a tray complete with a kettle, tea, sugar, and a china mug. I also appreciated the quality toiletries and good quality toilet paper provided. The manicured gardens surrounding the property were a delight to explore, filled with charming and quirky features. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Susan, the host, was absolutely lovely and made me feel so welcome throughout my stay. it was a truly memorable experience.
If I'm being really picky, I would mention that the driveway entrance is a bit easy to miss as it's right at the junction of the main road and their side road. However, this was just a small hiccup and didn't cause any major inconvenience.
